"Trash Orchid" is a one-of-a-kind assemblage created from reclaimed materials and found objects. Bright fragments of glass, beads, jewelry pieces, and chain elements form an unusual flower-like bloom emerging from a layered painted surface.
The composition resembles a strange botanical specimen — a flower grown from discarded fragments and overlooked materials.
This artwork is part of my This Art Is Trash series, where forgotten objects are transformed into small sculptural artworks that treat trash like treasure.
Each piece in the series is assembled by hand and is completely one of a kind.
