Red Moon Abstract Mixed Media Artwork – Circular Form, Handmade Paper (5.5 x 8 in)

One-of-a-kind original mixed media artwork created on handmade paper.

This piece features a circular, moon-like form built from layered color, texture, and organic variation. Vibrant pigments blend and overlap within the shape, creating a sense of atmosphere, movement, and contained energy.

A small red mark sits just beyond the main form, suggesting orbit, distance, or a fragment just outside the system — introducing a quiet sense of motion and tension within the composition.

The handmade paper base adds natural fibers and subtle irregularities, giving the piece a soft, tactile quality that contrasts with the intensity of the color.

Abstract yet familiar, the work evokes a distant surface, a shifting environment, or a moment suspended in space.
